I had a great momentum going, and then I injured my foot. I had to be taken to the emergency room. Lucky I only strained the muscle/tendon, but does this mean I'm out of the game for my workout resolution?
I say, "No!" I have decided to get a little creative and figure out what I can do. Yesterday I began with 15 minutes of band/ab work and weights. Today, I did 35 minutes of a workout!
Here's what I did:
I first started with Hip Hop last minute Abs . I did everything while sitting on the floor, legs stretched out in front and a few side leg positions. My foot did not touch the ground once! I may have missed out on the more super crunch motion of standing up, but I got the job done - total ab workout for 5 minutes!

Next, I opted to do a band workout video for my arms and shoulders. I have a 10 minute solutions Tone Trouble Zones. I had to get a little creative with some of the moves being on the floor, but I managed.
I attempted to do the 10-minute buns and thighs, but had to change plans. I opted for Winsor Pilates Buns and Thighs 20 minute dvd.

So, even though you may have an injury, consider what you can do, not what you can't do. Since switching to this mentality, I was able to take myself out of the pity parade on the side lines and put myself back into the game!
Fitnfun :O)
